Then of course you have simple werewolf transfiguration. This involves taking the atoms in a body and rearranging them manually, using some sort of field generated by a device. This would theoretically leave the persons personality in tact, while only changing their outward appearance.
While the magic and science of werewolves may not exist right now, as time moves forward we could come to a point where some of these things are possible. It takes the visionaries of imagination to light the path of the future.
